Job summary

Acestack is seeking a QA Automation Engineer in Atlanta, GA to develop, execute and maintain automated tests with Tosca for Web and Desktop apps, and to perform API testing using Postman or Tosca APIs.

You will collaborate with developers and analysts, integrate automation into CI/CD, and apply defect and test management using Jira and qTest in a co-located Agile team.

Qualifications

• Experience in functional testing and automation.
• Knowledge of defect management and test management tools.
• Experience with Tosca is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts for web and desktop apps.
• Perform manual and automated functional testing as needed.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for faster feedback.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to validate requirements.
• Provide test progress updates to the team lead and participate in Agile ceremonies.

• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Tosca API modules to validate backend services.

• Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and design test cases.
• Ensure thorough test coverage by integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Defect Management and Test Management Tools like Jira , qTest
