Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a QA Automation / Test Engineer to support a Navy-focused modernization program. The role is fully remote and involves testing software, firmware, and data solutions for the NAVREMS system, with emphasis on radiation exposure management and cybersecurity compliance.

You will execute automated and manual tests, create test scripts, and work with developers to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, military experience, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of QA, software testing, or test automation experience.
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Python, JUnit, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and defect resolution skills.
• Experience documenting test results and processes.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance after start date.

QA Automation Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a QA Automation / Test Engineer to support an organization directly supporting the Department of the Navy. This position is fully remote, and is an exciting opportunity supporting a modernization program focused on radiation exposure management, cybersecurity compliance, and mission-critical operational systems.

The QA Automation / Test Engineer will support the testing, validation, and quality assurance of software, firmware, and data solutions within the Navy Radiation Exposure Management System (NAVREMS).

Responsibilities include:

• Execute automated and manual tests
• Create and maintain test scripts
• Work with developers to ensure quality standards are met
• Track and verify software defects
• Support user testing and system validation
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements
• Maintain testing documentation and results

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, military experience, or equivalent experience

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $70,000-95,000
