Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a remote contract role in the financial services sector. You will conduct functional, load, and usability testing while integrating with CI/CD processes and collaborating with agile teams.

Responsibilities include designing test plans, creating automated scripts, and analyzing test results. Strong skills in Selenium, Java, Perl, Appium, and database testing are required, with experience in Git and modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automation testing using Selenium with Java or similar.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks in Java or Perl.
• Familiar with load, integration, security, and server-side testing.
• Proficient in automating web and mobile apps with Appium or Xcode.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle).

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, QA test planning, defect review, sprint planning.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and test artifacts including data and automation scripts.
• Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report results.
• Perform risk assessments and validate business requirements.
• Investigate bugs and write clear defect reports.
• Monitor, triage, and drive resolution of issues.

Our client seeks a QA professional to conduct functional testing, load testing, usability testing, continuous integration, and code reviews. The role will contribute to requirement analysis, test planning, execution, and results reporting while collaborating across agile teams.

Rate: $75.00 to $82.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Participate and contribute to requirements analysis, design, QA test plan development, defect review, QA results analysis, sprint review, and project planning sessions.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and test artifacts such as test data, data validation, and automated scripts.
• Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report test results.
• Perform risk assessments and validate business requirements.
• Investigate bugs and write clear and concise defect reports.

Experience Requirements

• Technical degree or related work experience.
• Experience as an Automation Engineer using tools such as Selenium with Java or similar.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks using languages such as Java or Perl.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
