Nexgen Savvy Solutions in Charlotte, NC seeks a capable QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver with Core Java, TestNG, Maven, and IntelliJ. The role focuses on web-based applications and requires strong scripting and collaboration with development teams.

You will implement distributed test execution across environments with Selenium Grid, manage tests in Git, create reusable libraries, and report findings in JIRA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Work location is Charlotte, NC with required travel to client locations across the USA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test cases in Selenium WebDriver using Core Java, TestNG, Maven and IntelliJ.
• Develop new and update existing automation test cases using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG with Git as VCS and Maven build tool.
• Work on distributed test automation execution across environments as part of CI with Selenium Grid and Git.
• Involve in design of libraries for Selenium-based automated test cases.
• Report, document and track change requests using JIRA.
• Debug Java code and verify bug fixes through testing; validate fixes before deployment.
• Perform smoke and regression testing of a policy lifecycle application (Guidewire).
• Implement cross-browser and cross-platform WebDriver testing.
• Test Web apps on Smart Bear cloud platform for cross-browser/OS coverage.
• Document and report test outcomes to development.

Job Duties And Skills

• Involve in design of various supportive libraries for Selenium based automated test cases


• Report, document and follow-up on the change requests using the defect-tracking tool JIRA.


• Debug Java code to fix functionality and usability issues discovered during testing. Also test out the bug fixes before implementation.


• Perform smoke and regression testing of an application which allows to process an entire Policy lifecycle (Guidewire)

Required Education
