Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a QC Analyst in San Antonio, TX for a contract-to-hire role. You will partner with QA to support software initiatives, develop and execute tests, and document results.

Responsibilities include defect tracking, data preparation, environment validation, and cross-team collaboration to ensure timely delivery. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in CS/IS or related field, at least 1 year QA/IT experience, and solid understanding of SDLC and testing best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of experience in Quality Assurance, Information Technology, or a related environment.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Quality Assurance team to support software development initiatives and system enhancements.
• Develop and execute test cases and test scripts, and document testing results.
• Identify, track, and validate defects while ensuring issues are resolved appropriately.
• Assist with test data preparation, environment validation, and test readiness activities.
• Collaborate with business, development, and technical teams to support effective testing strategies and project delivery.
