Job summary

Aiphone Corporation in Redmond, WA is seeking a hands-on QA Engineer to drive quality across software and hardware products.

You will create test plans, write test cases, execute verification, and collaborate with engineers to fix issues and improve processes. This role includes reviewing design docs, supporting manuals, and contributing to documentation control.

The position offers a generous benefits package and a salary range of $72,800 to $105,600 plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software, computer science, or math preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in quality assurance.
• Experience in software/hardware development and test practices preferred.
• Familiarity with test types: regular case test, irregular case test, test matrix, long-run test, stress test, regression test, and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop new complex product developments including test plans and tests for software and hardware.
• Write test plans and test cases from user's point of view based on approved concept design.
• Perform test and verification to evaluate products and systems.
• Verify design documents to ensure the development process is in accordance with the company standards.
• Analyze issues from fields and provide engineers with information to fix the issues.
