Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst I in Ohio to manually test internal products and third-party integrations. You will write test cases, ensure coverage, and collaborate with developers, BAs and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities include planning UAT, logging issues, performing regression tests, and maintaining test artifacts. A 2+ year hands-on testing background and a BS in software engineering are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on manual software testing experience.
• Ability to review product and feature documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Familiarity with SDLC and software testing best practices.
• Experience in designing, authoring and communicating test scenarios and use cases.
• Experience implementing a quality process and standard release cycles.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Create, author and manually test appropriate test cases for assigned products.
• Interact with teams to ensure tests provide accurate coverage.
• Keep test repositories up to date with added tests.
• Follow test management procedures and take corrective action.
• Participate in planning of UAT prior to product launches.
• Replicate and document issues reported by users during UAT.
• Create tickets for issues detected during testing.
• Provide timely status reports to stakeholders.
• Perform manual regression testing prior to release.
• Become a subject-matter expert on assigned products.
