Job summary

GlobeTax, based in the Greater NYC area, seeks a QA Analyst to ensure a high-quality user experience across client-facing web apps and internal win-apps. You will develop and execute manual test cases, collaborate with development and project teams, and report defects using Jira/Confluence in a fast-paced Agile Scrum environment.

The role requires 3–6 years of software QA experience, strong knowledge of QA processes, SQL basics, and cross-browser testing across IE/Edge/Firefox/Chrome/Safari.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional Software QA experience.
• Understanding of QA processes, methodologies and SDLC.
• Working knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Experience testing Windows and Web-based apps across browsers.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand user workflows to accurately represent client experience.
• Test software to ensure design specifications and functionality.
• Collaborate with development, business and project teams to deliver features.
• Develop, maintain and execute manual test cases and plans.
• Report and track defects in Jira and Confluence.
