Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Minnesota is seeking a QA tester with a focus on data warehouse, ETL, and BI testing. You will participate in walk-throughs, develop test cases, execute tests, and report defects to ensure high data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of QA/testing with a focus on data warehouse, ETL, or BI testing.
• 2+ years of SQL for data validation and test automation.
• 2+ years of QA tools like HP ALM, JIRA, ADO or any test management tool.
• 2+ years of experience writing test cases and executing manual and automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, reviews, and user group meetings for quality assurance
• Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities
• Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect
• Carry out regression testing every time changes are made to the code to fix defects
• Prepare the status report for testing activities
• Develop an in-depth system and application knowledge to provide higher test quality and coverage
• Constantly working towards test automation
• Collaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance criteria for the user stories
