Job Title

QA Analyst

Position Overview

As part of our Quality Assurance team, you’ll help ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards and deliver meaningful value to our customers. We are building a team of ambitious, high‑performing individuals who take ownership, move quickly, and think critically. This role will focus primarily on manual testing efforts to verify that our software performs as expected and aligns with our company’s goals. You will also play an important role in helping Prompt evolve its QA practices by testing AI‑enabled functionality and leveraging modern AI and agentic tools to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and insight. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of our solutions for rehab therapy teams, improving their ability to deliver exceptional care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manual Testing: Perform functional, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing on new and existing features.
  • Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and communicate defects to the development team, ensuring timely resolution.
  • AI Testing: Test AI‑enabled product features for accuracy, reliability, usability, edge cases, and unintended behaviors.
  • Leveraging AI and Agentic Tools: Use AI‑assisted workflows to improve test planning, test case generation, exploratory testing, documentation, and overall QA efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams including product, development, and design to review project requirements, provide input during the testing phase, and ensure alignment on quality expectations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of test plans, test cases, and results. Ensure clear and consistent documentation for stakeholders.
  • Prioritization and Risk Communication: Plan and manage daily QA work across multiple priorities, focus testing efforts on the highest‑risk and highest‑impact areas, and proactively communicate status, blockers, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute insights to enhance testing processes, documentation standards, and workflows. Advocate for quality in every stage of the software development lifecycle.
  • Ownership and Execution: Take initiative, follow through on commitments, meet expected business results, and consistently look for ways to raise the standard of quality across the product and team.
  • Dependability and Follow‑Through: Take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, manage day‑to‑day priorities effectively, and consistently deliver expected results with limited oversight.
  • Prioritization and Organization: Able to manage multiple testing priorities, sequence work based on risk and business impact, adapt quickly when priorities shift, and clearly communicate tradeoffs or risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in a QA Analyst or similar role, preferably working with healthcare‑related software, particularly in rehab therapy or similar domains.
  • Solid experience with manual testing techniques such as functional, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing.
  • Experience testing AI‑enabled features or a strong demonstrated interest in learning how to evaluate AI outputs, identify edge cases, and use AI or agentic tools to improve QA workflows.
  • Strong documentation skills for writing test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
  • Exceptional ability to identify issues and inconsistencies in software and provide actionable feedback.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Team player: ability to work in a collaborative environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • High‑performance mindset: consistently deliver high‑quality work with strong follow‑through, urgency, and ownership. Proactively communicate progress, escalated risks early, and take initiative to improve outcomes when timelines, quality, or expected results may be at risk.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
  • Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and database testing (including proficiency with SQL).
