Adaptive Solutions Group is seeking a Software Web Developer (Python / SQL) to join our team in the St. Louis area.

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and SQL; collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions. Build and support backend services, optimize SQL queries, and participate in testing and deployment activities.

Qualifications

• Experience developing web applications using Python.
• Strong SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting database-driven applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Experience supporting SDLC activities including testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using Python.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and project resources to deliver software solutions.
• Build and support backend services, integrations, and database-driven functionality.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application performance and functionality issues.
• Participate in application testing, deployment, and ongoing production support activities.
• Assist with cloud-based application deployments and environment management.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge-sharing materials, and support documentation.
• Contribute to the enhancement of applications supporting analytics, automation, and AI initiatives.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional development team.
