Job summary

Citadel seeks Python Software Engineers to design and build applications, platforms, and infrastructure powering its investment processes. You will develop high-quality Python services, APIs, and tooling used across research, trading, risk management, data, and enterprise workflows.

You will collaborate with investment professionals, researchers, and engineers to translate requirements into practical technical solutions while contributing to architectural decisions and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional Python programming skills and a strong understanding of CS fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit, ownership mindset, and adaptability to changing requirements and technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding and dynamic environment.
• Intellectual curiosity and interest in financial markets.
