Job summary

Xm is expanding its QA team and seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test (Python) to join a fast-growing group focused on a Forex brokerage core. You will craft automated tests for REST APIs, build test frameworks, and contribute to CI/CD integration in a collaborative, technically ambitious environment.

The role emphasizes Python development, automated testing, and performance evaluation with English communication and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 2 years in quality assurance with hands-on Python development.
• Experience designing and executing automated REST API tests.
• Strong Git version control and agile software processes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to improve delivery and quality across the SDLC.
• Translate business requirements into technical testing needs and plans.
• Advise on performance testing strategies for improved delivery.
• Create test procedures and plans from product docs and external standards.
• Design and implement functional and performance automation tests.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks and libraries.
• Develop mobile test emulators and integrate tests into CI pipelines.
• Manage issues and drive resolutions throughout testing.
• Share expertise with the QA team and participate in SDLC and STLC.
