CLOUD ANALYTICS TECHNOLOGIES in Jacksonville seeks an IT Solutions Developer to design and code using Python and R, implement unit testing, and document systems. You will review code, maintain internal apps, and evaluate third-party products while ensuring IT Controls for data security and availability.

Responsibilities include developing REST-based services, batch processing, and collaborating during the SDLC to meet business requirements. Proficiency with MS Office and Visio is expected.

Formación

• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
• In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle
• Experience with Python development and coding of IT solutions
• Documentation of the system, unit tests, peer code reviews and maintenance of internally developed applications
• Incorporating IT Controls to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and data
• Strong understanding of RESTful architecture and APIs
• Ability to evaluate libraries for business/technical requirements
• Proficient in R and Python programming and libraries
• Experience working with REST APIs using Python
• Experience processing and scheduling batch files using Python
• Proficiency with MS Office and Visio for documentation and diagrams
• Strong critical thinking to align solutions with business objectives and strategy

Job Description: JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for development, programming, coding of Information Technology solutions using R/Python to enable Customer Experience applications. Responsible for documentation of the system, conduct unit tests, peer code reviews and maintenance of internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products. Responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
• In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle
• Responsible for development, programming, coding of Information Technology solutions using Python
• Responsible for documentation of the system, conduct unit tests, peer code reviews and maintenance of internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products.
• Responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.
• Excellent understanding of RESTful Architecture style.
• We expect the candidate to have ability to take methodical approach to evaluate various libraries with pros and cons to meet business / technical requirements.
• Excellent understanding of R and Python programming mode and required libraries.
• Must have demonstrated experience working with REST APIs using Python.
• Must have demonstrated experience processing batch files using Python
• Must have demonstrated experience developing scheduling of batch processes
• Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio
• High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy

Required Work Experience:

• 3+ years related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
• 3+ years’ experience with R and SQL/Stored Procedures.
