Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Python Full Stack Engineer to join our IAM team. The role combines Java and Python development to design, build, and secure enterprise applications within a risk and information security context.

You will work on REST/SOAP services, cloud deployments, and data pipelines, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with product owners on feature planning and technical roadmaps. This position is based in Austin, Texas.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Java 21.
• Expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing Microservices using Spring JDBC, Spring Security, Spring Batch, and Spring Transaction Management.
• Hands-on experience with Python programming and data processing pipelines.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services.
• Good knowledge of JSON, XML, and WSDL.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience with Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS or other Cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of OAuth, authentication, authorization, and application security.

Responsibilities

• Support the Identity and Access Management Identity Services and Capabilities team in the Technology Risk & Information Security organization.
• Participates in the design and development of systems and application programs.
• Functions as Senior member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development practices - tools, common components, and documentation.
• Mentors engineers, and may have management responsibilities over 2-3 engineers.
• Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies.
• Works closely with product owners on blueprints and annual planning of feature sets that impact multiple platforms and products.
• Works with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues'
