Job summary

Allspring Global Investments is seeking a Python Engineer in Milwaukee to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade Python apps for investor enablement. You will build scalable services, RESTful APIs, and data pipelines, collaborating with analytics, operations, and technology teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of Python experience in an Agile setting, strong Pandas/NumPy, SQL, and cloud familiarity. This is a hybrid role with in-office days in Milwaukee, WI.

Python Engineer

Overview

Allspring Global Investments is looking for a skilled and experienced Python Engineer to join the Investor Enablement team. As part of a firmwide initiative to modernize investment technology platforms and data solutions, you will design, develop, and support enterprise‑grade Python applications that enable investment, operations, and technology teams across the organization.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in‑office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

Solution Development

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Python‑based applications and services.
• Build high‑performance, multi‑threaded and multi‑process applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Create analytical and reporting solutions using Streamlit, Plotly, Bokeh, and Matplotlib.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non‑annual incentive or sales plans.)
