Job summary

BCore supports government missions by delivering tailored IT and software solutions in Chantilly, VA. This role focuses on Python development and systems engineering to enable mission-critical applications in a cloud-enabled environment.

The candidate will contribute to DevOps operations, data migrations, and the enhancement of data pipelines while ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure for diverse government clients in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with Jenkins, Application Registry and Configuration Management.
• Demonstrated experience with CloudFormation and YAML scripts.
• Demonstrated experience developing system dashboards to monitor system jobs and performance.
• Demonstrated experience hosting and supporting COTS/GOTS applications.
• Demonstrated experience with middleware services.
• Demonstrated experience with S3, SQS/SNS, Lambda, EC2s and DynamoDB.
• Demonstrated experience with hardening system infrastructure to support varying levels of data sensitivity.
• Demonstrated experience with Python API development.
• Demonstrated experience with Elasticsearch.

What you can expect from us

• The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $185,000 - 225,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
