Job summary

Tech Mirrors is seeking a Python Developer to upgrade and integrate third‑party Python packages, resolve packaging compatibility, and address automated test failures across multiple environments, including Edison, NJ.

The role requires strong Python skills, experience with packaging tools such as pip, PyPI, virtual environments, and testing with Pytest. You will work with Git, Linux scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and open source package maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Python development and debugging skills.
• Experience with Python packaging tools and environments (pip, PyPI, wheels, virtualenvs).
• Familiarity with pytest or equivalent testing frameworks and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade Python packages across supported runtime versions.
• Resolve dependency, API import, packaging, and test failures.
• Update package metadata and internal build configuration.
• Reconcile local patches and diagnose CI presubmit failures.

Rate – $60/hr on C2C
