Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a software engineer for the SURE unit in the United States to drive Python-based solutions, cloud integration, and API management across services, utilities, and energy sectors. You will contribute to requirements, design discussions, coding, reviews, and deployment, collaborating with global teams and adapting to fast-changing digital transformation initiatives.

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent; three years of progressive experience may be substituted.
Strong Python development experience with ability to translate requirements into code.
Experience with cloud platforms and API integration using AWS.
Ability to collaborate across the SDLC and global delivery teams.
Willingness to relocate/travel to project locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Contribute to requirements elicitation and document business requirements.
Facilitate design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
Participate in coding and integrate features into existing applications.
Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
Develop training materials and support frameworks for new software.
Resolve production issues and propose preventive reliability improvements.
Maintain detailed records to enrich knowledge bases.
