Accenture Flex in the United States is looking for an experienced Data Modeler to model current and new data, collaborating with business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers and data architects to deliver data solutions that meet standards. The role requires 5+ years IT experience with Data Modeling, Virtualization, Data Analytics, Python and SQL, plus leadership to guide teams.

80% onsite in Pennington, NJ or Jersey City, NJ with client-mandated time away 5 days per

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT work experience as a Software Engineer with Data Modeling, Virtualization and Data Analytics.
• Experience in Python and SQL.
• Advanced proficiency in Data Virtualization.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in QUARTZ Framework; Banking/Finance domain knowledge is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for working closely with key business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects to model both current and new data.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
• Providing solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role.
• Develop and refine data models that align with business requirements and technical standards.
• Support less experienced colleagues by sharing expertise and providing guidance on data modeling best practices.
• Analyze complex data structures and propose improvements to enhance data quality and accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure data solutions meet organizational goals and compliance standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes and tools to elevate overall team performance.

Note: role requires 80% onsite client work in Pennington, NJ or Jersey City, NJ and client mandated time away 5 days per quarter.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of IT work experience Software Engineer with experience in Data Modeling, Virtualization, Data Analytics, Experience in Python, SQL Advanced proficiency in Data Virtualization Associates degree Preferred Qualifications: Advanced proficiency in Python Programming Language Advanced proficiency in Data Modeling Oracle SQL Developer and Data Analytics Good Communication and Leadership skillset Experience in QUARTZ Framework Banking Finance domain knowledge and experience will be considered a strong advantage
