Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Python Developer for a 12-month contract open in several locations in the United States. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable Python applications and services, building RESTful APIs, and integrating with third-party systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of hands‑on Python software development experience.
• Strong experience with Python libraries, frameworks, REST APIs, Git, and software development best practices.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, object-oriented programming, and scalable application architecture.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Financial services or banking industry experience strongly preferred.

Job Description:

• Pay: $55-70/hr (W2) *flexible rate for qualified candidates*


• 12-month contract with potential for permanent conversion


• Hybrid schedule at any of the following locations: Dallas, TX; Jersey City, NJ; Tampa, FL
