Job summary

Conch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Python Developer to design and deliver scalable APIs using Python tooling in a hybrid environment based in Texas.

Ideal candidates have 4–8+ years in software engineering, strong Python, and production experience with FastAPI or Flask, AWS/GCP cloud work, and robust data stores (Postgres/MySQL). Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and Terraform is a plus while ensuring reliable, versioned APIs.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years software engineering with strong Python 3.x.
• Production FastAPI or Flask APIs with security and versioning.
• Cloud experience on AWS and/or GCP with relevant services.
• Postgres/MySQL and Redis/ElastiCache/Memorystore; migrations and schema design.
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Cloud Build), Docker, IaC experience (Terraform helpful).
• Testing culture (unit/integration/contract) and OpenAPI specs.
• Resiliency patterns and performance tuning in distributed systems.
