Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering and software automation
- 5+ years of expertise with Python Solid knowledge of web services include HTTP protocol, REST, and JSON
- Experience with Git/Github
- 5+ years of experience with Linux administration Experience with private cloud implementations such as OpenStack
- The cloud infrastructure engineer will play a key role in the design, integration, and operation of a massively scalable cloud operating platform for client.
- Candidate will work with engineering and operations teams to further automate processes throughout the entire stack from application to network.
- This person will interface with technical leads throughout the enterprise to close the continuous integration and continuous deployment loop leading the organization toward Platform as a Service and Software as a Service.
- Candidate must have strong Python development skills and integration engineering experience working in a complex business environment.
- The individual should also be able to architect solutions for integrating disparate systems and implementing custom business processes.
- Must have experience working with REST APIs, message queues (RabbitMQ), databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQLAlchemy, NoSQL), distributed systems technologies (Celery).
