Job summary

StradIT is seeking a skilled Python developer to design, build, test, and maintain scalable applications and services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4–6 years hands-on software development with Python.
  • Strong knowledge of Python libraries, frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating with third party platforms.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of software design patterns, OOP, and scalable architecture.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications and services.
  • Build and support RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of data pipelines, automation frameworks, and integration solutions.
  • Support AI/ML initiatives by developing data processing components and integrating machine learning services into business applications.
  • Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security standards, and best practices.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices to improve software quality and deployment efficiency.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and operational procedures.
  • Support application monitoring, performance tuning, and reliability improvements.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
