Job summary

Pyramid IT is seeking a Java Transaction API Consultant / Java Developer for a 6+ month contract in Atlanta, GA / Dallas, TX. You will design and implement scalable distributed data architectures using NOSQL and provide API integration into the data storage layer. Experience with Coherence/Cassandra/NoSQL is a plus.

The role requires strong Java expertise in distributed environments, 4+ years in distributed systems, and 1+ year with Maven. On-site opportunities available in Atlanta or Dallas.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, deploying and supporting large-scale distributed systems.
• 5+ years of Java experience in a distributed environment.
• 1+ year of experience with Maven.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement highly scalable and reliable distributed data architectures using NOSQL technologies and data distribution networks.
• Develop and integrate API components for Client Application into the Data Storage layer and implement data quality and monitoring infrastructure.

Job Description:
