Job summary

HDR is seeking a Pursuits Manager to lead our Education, Science and Sports pursuit team. You will guide strategy, positioning, and proposal development, collaborating with sector leaders, designers, researchers, and marketing colleagues to win major opportunities.

You will mentor a team, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure high-quality client-focused submissions across the EdSciSport practice, with opportunities to work on global pursuits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading pursuit or marketing teams in A/E/C industries.
• Proven ability to win high-value contracts.
• Experience with design and layout considerations.
• Cover Letter submitted with application.

Responsibilities

• Lead priority pursuits for the Education, Science, and Sports sectors.
• Mentor and develop a team of pursuit professionals through workload oversight and coaching.
• Lead pursuit teams through planning, strategy, messaging, and proposal production.
• Facilitate pursuit strategy and kickoff meetings aligning with client needs.
• Oversee development of persuasive proposals, qualifications, presentations and interview materials.
• Manage pursuit workflows, budgets, schedules, and quality-control processes.
• Collaborate with Architecture Marketing Studio and cross-sector teams.
