• Experience in alternative education, behavioral intervention, or working with at-risk students preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and student relationship-building skills.

Responsabilités

• Teach all core academic subjects using Arkansas Academic Standards and ScholarMade's adopted curriculum.
• Plan and deliver differentiated instruction for students across multiple grade levels and academic abilities.
• Provide direct instruction, small-group intervention, and individualized academic support.
• Establish and maintain a structured classroom with clear routines, behavioral expectations, and consistent accountability.
• Implement emotional intelligence instruction, positive behavior supports, and individualized intervention strategies.
• Assess student performance, monitor academic and behavioral growth, and adjust instruction based on student needs.
• Maintain accurate lesson plans, student progress reports, assessment data, and behavioral documentation.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, Culture Coordinators, Special Education staff, and school leadership.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding academic performance, behavior, and student progress.
• Support students in developing the academic and behavioral skills needed for successful reintegration into the general education classroom.
• Participate in PLCs, professional development, and other assigned school responsibilities.

Position: Purpose & Growth Alternative Learning Environment (ALE) Teacher

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas

Position Summary

ScholarMade Achievement Place is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and highly effective Purpose & Growth ALE Teacher to provide academic instruction and behavioral support to a small group of students requiring a structured, individualized learning environment.

The teacher will provide daily instruction in: English Language Arts, Reading, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies Reading, addressing academic learning gaps while helping students develop emotional regulation, personal responsibility, and positive classroom behaviors.
