Job summary

Meridial seeks a theoretical mathematics expert to contribute high quality mathematical training data for AI. This freelance role focuses on constructing and evaluating complex proofs, validating reasoning, and translating material into Lean 4 syntax, supporting researchers and engineers globally.

The position is remote and worldwide, with pay on an hourly basis. The ideal candidate has a PhD or PostDoc in pure mathematics, excellent proof skills, and the ability to translate results into Lean

Qualifications

• Lean 4 fluency with in progress or recent PhD or PostDoc experience in pure mathematics.
• Strong foundation in core areas such as measure theory, functional analysis, optimization, and category theory.
• Ability to articulate reasoning and proof strategies clearly.
• Experience with probabilistic inequalities and convergence theorems.
• Comfort translating mathematical material into executable Lean code.
