Responsibilities

• Support sourcing, cost reduction, strategy development and financial analysis activities in Purchasing
• Assist across Direct, Indirect, Aftermarket, Program Management, Supplier Risk, Methodology & Process, Value Optimization and Sustainable Raw Materials

Job description

STUDENT PROGRAM FORMAT

This student program follows a format in which participants work remotely during the academic year (September through April) and onsite during the summer (May through August). Remote work must be performed from a location within the United States.

To be eligible for participation in this program, candidates must reside and perform work in one of the following states: Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Maryland, Ohio, Arizona, California, or Colorado.

During the academic year, students who reside in the Metro Detroit area are highly encouraged to work onsite at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, as their schedules permit.

During the academic year, students are expected to work 24 hours per week during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Students selected for the program will work with their manager to establish a consistent weekly schedule that fulfills the 24-hour requirement while accommodating their class schedule.

During the summer months (May through August), students are expected to work onsite at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Students may be required to relocate and may work up to 40 hours per week during this period, based on business needs and management discretion. Relocation assistance may be available to students who meet specific eligibility requirements.

Student program cohorts begin quarterly in January, April, June, and September. Students are intended to remain in the program through graduation.

Purchasing is responsible for globally sourcing all parts, goods and services by creating strategic and innovative supplier partnerships that will ensure the best quality parts for our vehicles. The Stellantis Purchasing Student Program allows individuals to gain experience and exposure across the many different facets of a strategic enterprise. Within the program, students may support sourcing, cost reduction, strategy development and financial analysis activities, in one of the Purchasing organization's functional areas.

Purchasing Student Program assignments are available across a variety of functions, including Direct Purchasing (Body, Interior, Chassis & Adaptation, Electrical, and Powertrain), Indirect Purchasing, Aftermarket Purchasing, Purchasing Program Management, Supplier Risk Management, Methodology & Process, Performance & Value Optimization, and Sustainable Raw Materials. Candidates will gain industry experience, interface with all levels within our Purchasing department and apply their coursework to drive results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university at the time of hire
