The Purchasing Specialist is primarily responsible for facilitating purchases on behalf of Tulsa City-County Health Department (TCCHD) programs.
The following functions represent the majority of the duties performed by the position but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary.
Frequent internal contact with personnel at all levels in the purchase of goods and services. Frequent external contact with vendors regarding purchases and orders.
Working conditions are those associated with working in an office environment within a building with public access. Regular exposure to indoor lights, office equipment noise, frequent interruptions and regular interaction with external and internal customers.
Must maintain THD record confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.
