Summit Orthopedics is hiring a Purchasing Specialist for our Landmark Surgery Center in Woodbury, MN. This full-time role involves placing orders for medical supplies, verifying receipts, and maintaining inventory while ensuring accurate distribution across the surgery center.
The position requires at least one year in purchasing or inventory control, preferably in healthcare, and a High School diploma. 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; flexibility to float to other Summit locations may be needed.

Under supervision, the Purchasing Specialist assumes responsibility for placing orders, receiving/checking in orders, maintaining accurate inventory and charging methods for the entire surgery center. The Purchasing Specialist will also be responsible for picking all surgical procedures for scheduled case from physician preference cards, and for obtaining all special request items when procedures are scheduled. The Purchasing Specialist will be able to provide backup in sterile processing/decontamination areas and instrument assembly when needed.
This is a full-time opportunity based at our Landmark Surgery Center located in Woodbury, MN. 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday with a schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 pm (schedule is subject to change). This position may require flexibility to float to other Summit locations as needed.
Primary duties:
Summit's hiring range for this position is $20.64 to $25.80 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation.
