Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Purchasing Manager for our Detroit-based client in the U.S. automotive manufacturing sector. You will own the purchasing strategy across the U.S.

operation, lead supplier localization and development, and drive strategic sourcing and negotiations. You will report to the CEO, partnering with manufacturing teams and international leadership to improve cost, quality, delivery and supply continuity.

Are you a Purchasing leader ready to take ownership of a U.S. operation's sourcing strategy and build out its supplier network?

Do you have the automotive or manufacturing experience to develop suppliers, drive localization and influence purchasing strategy at a growing international manufacturer?

This is a senior opportunity with a global automotive manufacturer backed by an established international group and continued investment across its U.S. operations.

You'll take ownership of purchasing strategy across the U.S. operation, with significant responsibility for supplier development, strategic sourcing and procurement performance.

A major focus will be building and developing the North American supply base. You'll work directly with suppliers, manufacturing teams and international leadership to improve cost, quality, delivery and supply continuity.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a highly visible position where you'll have genuine influence over the direction of the purchasing function and the suppliers supporting the U.S. operation.
