Rogers Group in Clare, MI is seeking a Purchasing Intern for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in supply chain and purchasing operations while supporting procurement activities within Epicor.

You will collaborate with manufacturing engineering, shipping, and receiving to process orders, manage stock levels, and build supplier relations. This on-site internship emphasizes teamwork and growth.

Formación

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree; student involvement is a plus.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Excel, Outlook and ERP software tools.

Responsabilidades

• Procure components to meet demand while learning Epicor inventory management.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on custom material requirements.
• Process purchase orders with Shipping/Receiving and handle inbound discrepancies.
• Evaluate safety stock and place orders for production components.
• Build supplier relations to improve efficiency and expedite urgent parts.
• Coordinate pricing schedules with suppliers and perform related duties.
