Job summary

AISIN World Corp. of America is seeking a Purchasing Data Management Specialist (Raw Material & MRO Support) in Northville, MI.

You will design, implement, and maintain data systems to support AISIN's CPS for Raw Material and MRO data across North American plants. Responsibilities include building data tables for supplier mapping, automating data imports from ERP and plant files, and ensuring data integrity through normalization.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in data system design and integration.
• Strong understanding of relational data structures (SQL, Access, or similar).
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or supply chain.
• Experience consolidating data from ERP or plant-level systems.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to data integrity.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Finance, and Engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data tools (Power Query, Access; Power BI a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop, structure, and maintain data management systems to support the CPS for Raw Material and to integrate MRO data across AISIN NA plants.
• Design data tables to map Raw Material grades to Tier-2 suppliers under the CPS program.
• Build a centralized MRO data management structure with unified part numbering.
• Develop automated data import processes from ERP systems, plant spreadsheets, and supplier data files.
• Establish data normalization and cross-reference logic to ensure data integrity.
