The Purchasing and Customer Service Manager oversees the Purchasing, Customer Service, and White Glove Delivery teams, driving continuous improvement in service levels. This role develops and manages purchasing strategies that leverage appropriate vendors to maximize product margins while maintaining customer satisfaction, and leads the Customer Service team to ensure exceptional service.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field and four years of related, progressive experience, or an equivalent of eight years combining education and experience.
The work environment requires regular sitting, talking, hearing, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally the employee may stand, walk, lift, or move up to 15 pounds. No employee is authorized to lift more than 50 pounds without assistance. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
