Brembo North America seeks a Senior Purchasing Manager to lead sub-categories for Auxiliaries & Services across the USA and Mexico. You will shape and execute the purchasing strategy, driving cost competitiveness and supplier performance in a global automotive environment.

You will collaborate with Global Purchasing, Local Operations, Quality and Logistics to build a robust supplier base, manage risk, and deliver value through innovation.

Qualifications

• In-depth Purchasing experience, minimum 3 years, in a multi-country environment and complex organizations.
• Experience in Transportation with 3PL/4PL, inbound/outbound freight, TMS, fleet management and warehousing.
• Automotive industry knowledge and ability to operate in a global, fast-moving organization.

• Responsible for a group of Sub-Categories for Auxiliaries & Services Transportation, Marketing, IT and HR for USA and Mexico;
• Working in a cross functional Team with the Global Purchasing Dept, Local Operations, Quality and Logistic;
• Responsible for developing and implementing the purchasing strategy on Auxiliaries & Services to maximize the company’s results;
• Responsible for developing and designing a proper supplier base in USA in accordance with the guidelines of the Auxiliary & Services Coordinator and the Global Commodity Manager, in terms of cost competitiveness, quality, service & innovation;
• Responsible to identify risks and opportunities involved in each sourcing process
• Reports to the Plant Auxiliary & Services Coordinator

Professional Qualifications & experience

• In-depth experience of Purchasing, at least 3 years, in a multi-country environment and complex Purchasing Organizations
• Beneficial to have experience in handling Transportation with the understanding of a 3PL, 4PL, inbound / outbound freight, TMS, fleet management & warehousing
• Good knowledge and understanding of Purchasing best practice. Experience in Automotive Companies.
• Ability to work in a truly global organization. Proven experience of working in a fast-moving and result driven environment which demands to work under pressure most of the time.

Education / Languages

• Degree qualified preferably in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Business or other relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of other languages is desirable.
