Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Agent to join the Purchasing Department in Richmond, VA.

The role will involve bidding on new projects, maintaining scopes of work, tracking blueprints and design changes, and supporting overall project cost control. Responsibilities include soliciting bids, pre-qualifying subcontractors, managing costs, budgets, and variances, and inputting direct-cost budgets. A bachelor’s degree or related experience is required, with potential for bonus based on

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
