Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Agent for our Northern Utah team. You will bid on new projects, manage scopes of work, track blueprints and design changes, and monitor costs to support affordable homebuilding.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (or 1–2 years related experience) and is comfortable with budget tracking, bid analysis, and subcontractor pre-qualification as part of a fast-growing Fortune 500 homebuilder.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or 1–2 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Pre-qualify subcontractors.
• Setup and monitor option costs and sales prices.
• Maintain and update current budgets.
• Spread revised bids and obtain approval for any price increases.
• Prepare direct costs analysis and variances for review.
• Input original Direct Costs budget.
• Execute lot starts and final proof all unit costs.

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Purchasing Agent for their Purchasing Department. The right candidate will bid on new projects, maintain scopes of work, track blueprints and design changes, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pre-qualify subcontractors

Qualifications
