D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Purchasing Agent for their Purchasing Department in Fort Wayne, IN. The right candidate will bid on new projects, maintain scopes of work, track blueprints and design changes, etc.

Essential duties include pre-qualifying subcontractors, setting and monitoring costs, maintaining budgets, and processing price approvals. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Maintain and update current budgets
• Spread revised bids and obtain approval for any price increases
• Prepare direct costs analysis and variances for review
• Input original Direct Costs budget
