Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for production materials and components using ERP, email, phone, and supplier portals.
• Manage purchase orders from order confirmation through delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers to adjust delivery dates as schedules change.
• Compare suppliers on price, quality, and lead time to optimize value.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and waste.
• Monitor inventory to prevent shortages and minimize excess or obsolete stock.
• Source, quote, and order standard and custom parts.
• Maintain purchasing records including POs, receipts, and supplier invoices.
• Support receiving, shipping, and local part pickups when needed.
• Help develop lean purchasing processes and procedures.
• Collaborate across departments to keep materials moving and production on schedule.

• Perform manual inventory counts and reconcile them with the ERP system

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related environment is a plus.

What Your Day Will Look Like

This is a hands-on purchasing role that combines office work with time in our manufacturing and warehouse environment. You’ll spend time managing purchase orders and supplier relationships while also staying connected to the materials and parts moving through production.

Parts of the warehouse are not air-conditioned, and the role requires regular sitting, standing, walking, stooping, and bending. You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Schedule

This is a full-time, salaried exempt position, typically Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.- 3:45 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on department needs.
