Job summary

The Division of Medical Quality Assurance, Bureau of Operations, is seeking a highly organized purchasing and procurement professional for an in-office role in Tallahassee, FL. The incumbent will manage purchasing, process invoices, and ensure compliance with Florida statutes while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities include researching vendors, MFMP registration, cost comparisons, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

  • This position is directly supervised by the Administrative Services Manager I in the Bureau of Operations, Operational Support Services Unit, Business Center.
  • The incumbent must possess good judgement and problem-solving skills to ensure services provided by the Business Center are completed efficiently, timely, and correctly.
  • Responsible for purchasing goods and services and processing invoices for expenses incurred for the Prosecution Services Unit; ensuring compliance with applicable Florida statutes by coding invoices to the appropriate board, obtaining approval, and submitting to Finance and Accounting within five working days; processing purchasing through P-card; reconciling all purchases within the unit.
  • Ordering goods and services may include contacting vendors, coordinating with non-contract vendors to register on MFMP, researching items and vendors for cost comparisons, and requesting invoices to resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
