You will examine requisitions, prepare purchase orders, maintain vendor relationships, and provide internal customer service to support timely payments and accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication/analytical skills.
• Ability to sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Examine and analyze daily purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness.
• Determine the appropriate processing method for purchases.
• Provide insights on supplier performance.
• Prepare and analyze purchase orders according to procedures.
• Work with data team to make corrections to system to support proper purchasing function.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
• Resolve purchase order discrepancies promptly to ensure timely payment to supplier, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain effective vendor relationships through communication and collaboration.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Summary:
