Job summary

Aptar Italia S.P.A. is seeking a Purchaser Indirect Categories to drive strategic procurement across manufacturing sites in a global organisation. The role focuses on CAPEX services, supplier management, and contract negotiations to ensure cost efficiency and continuity.

You will collaborate with international teams, manage site-specific categories, and support investment projects while travelling regularly to the Radolfzell/Aptar locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, (Industrial) Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in strategic and/or indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of CAPEX procurement, services sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
• Strong cost management and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience in supporting investment and change management projects.
• Strong analytical skills with a structured and solution‑oriented working style.
• Confident presence with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in an international and matrix organization environment is an advantage.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Deploy global, Pharma and Corporate category strategies locally, ensuring alignment while adapting to site constraints.
• Ensure effective sourcing and supplier management at site level, supporting operational performance, cost control and service continuity.
• Own site-specific categories not managed globally and contribute to cross-site coordination.
• Independently manage site-specific purchasing categories.
• Select, develop, and manage suppliers while ensuring sustainable supplier performance.
• Conduct price and contract negotiations and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support sourcing activities for Capex and site projects, ensuring supplier readiness and alignment with project requirements.
• Ensure supply and service continuity while actively managing procurement risks.
• Collaborate with international procurement and functional teams to standardize and optimize processes.
• Ensure visibility of site performance and contribute to reporting towards site and Pharma Purchasing leadership.

Your profile:
