Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in the United States seeks a procurement specialist to support production through supplier management and planning. You verify CSCN releases against production needs, monitor alignment with JDE requirements, and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.

Responsibilities include updating the 30-day planning tool (SharePoint), coordinating expedited shipments, resolving receiving issues, reviewing inventory variances, and strengthening supplier

Responsibilities

• Verify supplier release (CSCN) aligns with supplier production
• Monitor the CSCN release and verify it aligns with JDE requirements
• Follow up with suppliers as needed to ensure material is delivered in time to meet production requirements
• Update, communicate, and maintain information for priority parts, expedites, and production needs on 30-day purchase part planning tool (including SharePoint updates)
• Manage high risk suppliers and parts to minimize impact to production along with recovery plans
• Coordinate and resolve receiving issues (including workflow invoicing issues)
• Coordinate expedited shipment transportation with suppliers while minimizing expedite costs
• Review and coordinate the correction of net negatives and inventory errors for assigned parts
• Review and coordinate discrete purchase orders
• Review and optimize system transit times
• Manage inventory reduction and planning parameter optimization
• Review containerization and align to process
• Periodic check ins with suppliers to build supplier/customer relationships
