Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Four years of pupil transportation experience.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Driver License.
• Class B CDL with S and P endorsements.
• Background check and drug screen.
• DOT physical and motor vehicle review.
• Knowledge of school system policies.
• Hands-on management style with ability to motivate others.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and routing/state reporting software.
• Initiative and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Transportation staff on a day-to-day basis to ensure services are performed as contracted.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Enforce safety policies and model Auxilio's commitment to safety.
• Oversee dispatching, route assignments, and daily vehicle readiness forms.
• Recruit, hire, and train location staff; manage personnel files.
• Monitor metrics like on-time performance, missed runs, and customer complaints.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and validate payroll and attendance; manage overtime.
• Respond to emergencies and weather-related transportation issues; participate in meetings and community committees.
• Represent the company in community and school transportation advisory efforts.
