Job summary

SPIROL is seeking motivated individuals for Punch Press Operator roles in a climate controlled manufacturing environment in Stow, OH. Starting pay is $19.00/hour with 2nd shift premium and $20.90/hour3rd shift premium; higher starting pay based on experience.

You will load materials, set up and operate presses, inspect parts, read blueprints, and measure using inspection tools. Lifting up to 35 lbs and passing background/drug/physical tests are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Experience operating 30 to 100 ton open back punch single die manual presses preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and production drawings.
• Ability to utilize measuring and inspection equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical job duties.
• Ability to pass a post offer background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials and operate punch press equipment safely and efficiently
• Set up and run presses to meet production and quality standards
• Perform first piece, in process, and final quality inspections
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production routings
• Use measuring and inspection equipment accurately
• Maintain production standards while following all safety and workmanship procedures
