Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Level One Punch Press Operator for the 2nd shift at the Irvine, CA facility. You will interpret work instructions and routers, perform basic press operations after setup, and participate in in-process inspection.

Location Profile:

Headquartered in Irvine, CA, Shur-Lok manufactures fastening systems with superior locking devices for critical requirements including engine module assembly, structural assembly, rotor blade attachment, and aircraft engine shaft and spindle applications. Operations at the Irvine location include CNC Machining, CNC Waterjet Cutting, Laser Marking, Heat Treating, NDT, and EDM.

Position Summary:

Level One: Working with assistance, level one punch press operators interpret work instructions and routers as well as gather related work docs. Level one punch press operators perform basic press operation once the job has been setup, including in process inspection, which requires the use of calipers, micrometers, etc., basic shop math and print reading. Typically 0-1 years of experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.

• In Process Inspection (Visual & Functional, Recording)
• Perform First Part Buy-off (First Article Inspection)
• Visual Management of Machine (Stamps & Dies etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $19.50 to $29.50 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.

For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter .

• Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year.
