Job summary

Wind River Environmental LLC in Largo is seeking a Pump Technician to handle residential and commercial pumping and disposal of non-hazardous waste, with direct customer contact.

You will operate a company service truck, travel to locations to pump septic tanks, and maintain safety per DOT requirements. The position offers daytime shifts, with potential for evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL A or B license with Tanker Endorsement and airbrake endorsement.
• No restrictions regarding manual transmission.
• Ability to follow safety rules and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices in accordance with WRE and DOT requirements.
• Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency (get truck ready, tools, etc.) by following daily pre-trip and post-trip maintenance (check fluids, tires, supplies).
• Perform customer service interaction when on work site to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Observe and note defective septic component systems, adverse buildup or hazards on the work order and provide any recommended maintenance or service to customer.
• Completion and submission of quote and service paperwork to management in a timely manner, if required.
• Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for residential and commercial pumping and disposal of non-hazardous waste and has direct contact with Wind River Environmental customers. Responsibilities include operating a company service truck and driving to various locations to pump septic tanks.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $23.00 - $25.00 hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills

Shift: Day Shift - Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with the flexibility to evenings and weekends as needed
