Job summary

SAGE Rental Services is hiring two Shop Technicians for our Freeport, TX branch to support repair and maintenance of pump rental equipment. The role is local and hands-on.

Ideal candidates are prompt, reliable, with strong customer service and communication skills, and able to work safely in a team environment while handling gear, tests, diagnostics, and required paperwork. Qualifications

• Must have problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Technical/computer literacy including Microsoft Office and engine tools.
• Experience with rental industry software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test equipment and diagnose issues, responding to customer requests promptly.
• Repair and maintain pumps and related rental equipment.
• Complete work orders accurately and timely; support installation and startup as needed.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and follow safety procedures.
