Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Pump & Power Technician 2 to perform diagnostics and repairs, returning equipment to service and minimizing downtime.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience with Pump & Power equipment and EPA Section 608 Universal Certification. Exposure to refrigeration, electrical engines, dehumidification systems, and diesel generators is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• Ability to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow.
• Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters and air compressors.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs to return equipment to service, aiming to minimize downtime.
• Work with Pump & Power equipment and related systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic flow to troubleshoot issues.
• Support field operations and equipment maintenance.

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Pump and Power Technician 2.

The Pump & Power Technician 2 performs basic diagnostics and equipment repairs in the safest and most effective way possible with an emphasis on returning equipment to service to avoid equipment down time.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment
• EPA section 608 universal Certification required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• Basic understanding of refrigeration (EPA Certified), electrical engines and controllers, dehumidification equipment from CDI and munters, compressed air treatment (dryers/filters/aftercooler)
• Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, Heater and Shoring; possesses an understanding of diesel equipment, generators and air compressors
• Ability to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow
• Experience with similar equipment

Base Pay Range: $24.05 - 34.56

Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
